We are still plugging along with the base game of Fire Emblem: Fortunes Weave. That said, Nintendo is still adding more and more content to the game with the news of an expansion pass that has three waves of Downloadable Content on the horizon. Nintendo has posted a trailer for the DLC on their YouTube channel.

The Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Expansion Pass includes access to three waves of content:

· Wave 1: Obtain prototype weapons for the four heroes, modelled after Heroes’ Relics from the Fire Emblem: Three Houses game. This content is available now.

· Wave 2: This winter, enlist the aid of powerful gods Aurora, Smyrnos and Jurah in battle during the story’s final act. The ability to wear new alternate outfits will also be included.

· Wave 3: New story content featuring four familiar warriors fighting in the Heroic Games – Bertrand, Talimun, Orchel and Anatolia – will be available, along with new allies, classes and more in 2027. Additional details will be revealed in the future.

If you are like myself and wanted to see more about the possible four routes that was initially planned for development of the main game, then time to get excited! Wave three has four routes for the four other heroes. Still not a lot of details on that. Odds are it won’t be exactly what was planned for release in the early stages of this game’s development.

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is currently available exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2.

The Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Expansion Pass is available for purchase now on Nintendo eShop and from the Nintendo Store on Nintendo.com for $34.99, and the first wave of content is available today.
